I want to change my password. |
There are two methods, either use our self service Webapps or change it locally on a computer.
Log onto a UNIX machine; e.g., peppar.cs.umu.se using ssh (if you are using Windows computer, use the program
PuTTY).
Run the program passwd; you will be prompted for your old and new passwords.
For windows systems in the computer labs either press ctrl-alt-del and choose change password or use the "Change password" shortcut on the desktop
If you have forgotten your old password, you may still change your password with Webapps using your UMU-ID as identifier.
If you have no UMU-ID contact support for help.
