I have lost a file, what do I do?

When you are using the default resources, everything you work with will in fact be stored on our UNIX system. Applications that uses temporary files will usually store them on our UNIX system as well. Most application will have your UNIX-user as default location for saving as well.
This means that most of your data will be backuped each night and that regular file system snapshots will be made. If you don't do anything out of the ordinary, most of your files and data will be recoverable and you should never loose more than a couple of hours of work.
