What is UMU-ID and what is the difference compared to a CS-user?

As a student at the Department of Computing Science you are provided with two different computer users. One is named UMU-ID and the other CS-user.

UMU-ID, is a user administered by ITS-servicedesk. It is used to log into for instance Portalen, Cambro, Moodle and Office 365

All issues concerning this user are directed to ITS

CS-user, is a user administered by the Department of Computing Science. It is used to log into the departmental multi user servers, lab servers, computerlab systems, the departmental email, student self service and assignment handling system

All issues regarding this user are directed to CS Support
